An Eddy

eddy |ede| noun: a circular movement of water, counter to a main current, causing a small whirlpool.

Yep, a man named Carl saved Hayden from an eddy today. Actually it was his cousin Joe that did the saving, but thank you to everyone involved-since I about drowned myself in the process!

Oh, and going to church-all 3 meetings-is so underrated! Tender mercies have come our way and I am humbled.

One more note... NO SWIMMING ON SUNDAYS!

Sarah Is A Pig

Addie had a play at school and it fell on Grandpa Chad's birthday so Brooke came to surprise him and watch the play. Addie, or Sarah as she is known at school, did very well. It is amazing to think that just a few years ago she wouldn't even sing in primary programs!

So Jase is just so cute and so fun. We just love him! These are some pics of him before going to preschool one day.

Funny story that is worth sharing...

One day Grandpa Chad came over while I was at work. Bryce was downstairs exercising and Jase was just playing alone upstairs. Grandpa asked where his dad was and he said "he is getting bigger ones of these" as he grabbed his chest. Grandpa didn't quite know what to say but it was cute nonetheless (hence the title of this post)!

St. Patty's Day

So last year I felt so bad for my kids because I didn't do anything for this great holiday. I read everyones blogs about the great green food they ate and I didn't do squat.

Well this year was different. This year I got the food thing down. Maybe next year I will get creative and do a little treasure hunt or something. The kids thought I was great this year... and that's what matters.
