Tennis for FHE

Addie planned our Family Home Evening for us so we all went to the tennis courts to play.  It was fun to run around and chase the ball.  After practicing and warming up a bit we played a game to five points.  Hayden and Nicki vs. Addie and Bryce.  Jase was mostly a moving target, running around with a ball thinking he was "getting away" from us.  Addie and Bryce won by three points-we'll get em next time!

A Little Boys Dream (or a big boy's!)

After the playing music on the piano, Grandpa took the boys for a ride in the Corvette.  They LOVE cars-and they don't have bad taste either!

How could any lady resist this?

Sweet Music

Grandpa Chad and Addie played us some music Sunday evening.  Grandpa taught Addie her part and after practicing they played together.  It was wonderful to watch and listen to!

My Boys

My three handsome boys after they have all had haircuts!  Thanks to all for voting!

Myrtle Beach 2008

Bryce and his buddies have gone to Myrtle Beach for the past three years.  Tons of fun, thanks to the wives for letting them go.  A week of non-stop golf.  They wake up, eat some breakfast and then play 18 holes on a different course each day.  After this they do a re-round on the same course and golf 18 more holes.  So basically, they golf 216 holes in one week!  A few blisters and a lot of laughs later they come home to their families that miss them so much.  Thank heavens, because we miss our daddies!

Halloween Cookie Fun

Hallelujah!

YEAH!  Can you believe it?  He finally let me cut his hair.  I know this isn't the greatest picture-I took it as he was running out the door for work this morning- but the hair definitely looks better than the hippie in the second picture.
So he came home from his trip to Myrtle Beach and he asked me to cut his hair after about six months of growing it out.  I am not sure if he was going through a mid-life crisis, or he was sad about the reseeding hair line, or if he just didn't cut it because he knew his mom wanted him to.  I do know that he thought it was "awesome".  Who cares anymore, the saga is over.  My husband is back and I love him.

Puttin' around in the ol' '29

This was Addie, Hayden, and Jase's great-great grandpa's truck.  It is a 1929 Model A.  It was owned by Walter Hunter.  He was child number 33 of 36 kids.  His dad had three different wives, two at a time.  His father Ebinezer, was the man sent to homestead American Fork, Utah.  His original deed states American Fork as his land.  Steve remembers going fishing up Deer Creek with Walter and Martha.
Steve remembers driving the truck as a Junior in high school, borrowing it from his dad, and carousing with friends.
Steve took control of the truck in 1961 and drove everywhere including all over Utah, Salt Lake County, Morgan, and he even drove down to the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Steve got the truck out of storage this past summer and got it running.  It has been so much fun for him to give rides and be in parades.  Grandpa Dee Hunter was especially excited when he heard that old engine run again.
