Our first stop was at great-grandma Fugal's house to get the condo key. The kids were a little shy and Jase did not want to sit on grandpa's lap. It was fun to visit with them and Annette and Mel. Then, we were on our way!
Saturday we met up with the Newman's at In-N-Out. The kids were excited to see friends. After leaving we decided to go swimming back at the condo. On the way there is when the accident happened.
Suzy was rear-ended by a moron driving a truck and pulling a trailer. He told her that he was still accelerating when he hit her. He was on the phone and had no clue. Hayden was with Suzy at the time and we had Samantha with us. 
When Sammy found out about the accident she freaked out. Then when we found her mom she was a mess!
Jacob was wonderful helping his mom stay calm and getting the 5 kids out of the car!
I should have gotten a pic of the other side of the truck but we were separated by a chain link fence. 
I had all the kids while we waited for the cops to get all of the info. So basically, now Suzy is car-less with five kids and no husband. We stepped up and helped out!
