Once In A Blue Moon

Most weeks for family home evening we play a game, OR sing a song, OR say a scripture, OR clean the house and call it a "family project" and tell the kids how blessed we are to have such projects, and call that FHE.

And then there are times I get all my ducks in a row and I pull off a family home evening with props, handouts, projects, lessons, videos, treats... And the kids love it! Why can't I do that every week? What a great mom I would be then!

Anyhow, this was about four months ago that I took these pics. I got the lesson out of the Friend and it went well. So well that I have thought about doing it again!

And just so you know, I have had a couple FHE's since.
