The annual cutting down of the christmas tree is always memorable and fast. We leave our house, drive up the canyon, cut down a tree and an hour or two later we are home. This year our tree was across Swift Creek. Luckily Bryce is a monkey and was able to get across and back without getting too wet. We found a perfectly 12' tree, and not too sparse. I love it! After Bryce cut it down, he threw it across the river and then jumped. Obviously no one got to help cut it because I wasn't about to send the kids over the water too, so they just went sledding down the side of the mountain. We took a family photo of the moment and then drove home to decorate!
Life does not get much better than this!
We then decorated the tree and the house. It was the biggest mess ever which means we had the funnest time ever!
Tada! And only an hour late for bedtime. Not too shabby huh?
